It’s been a crazy few weeks and it seems getting back into the swing of it all has been harder on me than I thought. To be honest, I haven’t felt much excitement lately about the details of life at home with two kids.  Don’t worry, I’m fine. It’s just that whole there is beauty in the battles stuff is completely lost on me right now.

But the lovely Tiffany from Believe.Hope.Dream. inspired me to look at my life in a new way with her Life in a Day challenge. I’m not a great photographer, especially when my kids are all about. But yesterday, I made a point to take a picture once an hour. Yup, I set a timer, grabbed the camera and just captured what was right there in that moment.

I almost didn’t share it. I mean, the photos are blurry, and sometimes strange.  And I’ve never made a slide show before. But they are genuine. They are my life. And in the details of the gift of an ordinary day somehow it feels beautiful to me again. Thank you Tif. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
