I’m so beyond excited for this!! Maybe I’m missing it, but is there a date, or a ball-park time when the course is? I wouldn’t be surprised if it is written right in front of me. I’m tired!

but I’m so in!! Doesn’t matter when it is, I’m just in. But I want to write about it on my website, and didn’t want to miss out on any info.

so excited to do this class under you! When you come back to Washington State, I’ll be on your front door ready for any wisdom you’re willing to offer. :)

you are so kind. i’m actually quite flattered you think i may have something to offer you, being such an earth devoted herbcrafter yourself. it will be fun to go adventuring together. i am grateful to be gathering a tribe of plant lovers before i even touch ground.

No you didn’t miss the date. I am aiming for the week of the Spring Equinox, but want to be sure I can finish writing it before I pick a specific date.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m so excited!

This course sounds amazing! I have been interested in herbalism for years, and now my home-ed 12 year old is getting into herbs as well. She loves making basic tinctures etc with me,but this class sounds like it could be so much fun for us both. One thing though,I am in England, and I know it sounds dumb, but is the course going to be set around specific herbs grown in your area,or is it adaptable to what is local? Thank you for creating such a great website,I always come away inspired :)

    • latisha says:

Laura thank you for your kind words! And yes, it will be exactly that. My hope is to inspire folks to get a field guide, go walking in their neighborhood and meet the green people that live right near them. I’m building the class so the activities can be done around wherever whenever with whomever (green people, little people, friends). I will not be spending time talking about specific plants and uses in a general sense. I believe deeply that all the medicine we ever need is found right outside our own door. So Camp is more about meeting what’s local, learning to identify, engage good reliable resources and craft medicine from the things special to us.

I can’t believe I almost missed this. I unplug from email, facebook etc. two days a week because of my schedule and this almost slipped by me. I am very excited even though my location in the northeast may not mean I will be seeing much growing during class time but this is a subject I have been longing to learn more about. Squeeee!

    Thank you

Latisha… I so want to take this class… but spring is awfully busy for me. Is there any chance you’ll be doing this again in the summer or fall?
    Jill

    • latisha says:

Thank you so much for your interest! I will be doing it again the fall, but hopefully a fuller 6 week course. I know spring is a crazy time of year. Hope to see you in the fall!

  12. Jenny says:

    Hi Latisha!
After our brief chat over on the inbetween session, I saw this offering of yours and thought this may be an excellent starting point for me. But as you could maybe tell from my end of the conversation, this would all be new to me and I am scared of the crazy newbie questions that I might pepper you with :) I am very interested, but should I maybe do some reading first and then take the fall course, or do you think I could start here? I would be thrilled to learn from you! Just let me know!

  13. Marissa says:

    Hi Latisha,
How does the ecamp work? It’s entirely online?
Is it live? If so when and how often does it meet?
    Thank you

    • latisha says:

      Hi Marissa,
Thanks for your questions. It is entirely online. There will be no live events. You will have access to a private website and forum. A couple times a week I will offer a ‘lesson’ with written work and a video demonstration. The ‘class’ then shares with each other in the discussion about their own experiences and we talk. There will be a pdf at the end of the course you can refer to after it has ended.

I hope this clears up anything. If not, let me know.
      Thank you!

  14. I am sad I missed out on this spring Ecamp…I had a baby 2 weeks ago so my computer time has been short til now! But I am curious, how much does it cost?

    • latisha says:

congrats on your new arrival!! The mini camps are $40, I am thinking about running another one in July, but not sure about the timing yet. The full 6 week ecourse in the fall will be $80.
